Hello! My name is Dan Johnston, and I’m a loan officer at our Columbia, MD branch. I’m dedicated to helping homebuyers and homeowners with support from America’s #1 Retail Mortgage Lender.

I joined the mortgage industry after college because I wanted a career in finance where I could help make homeownership possible for others. I work with a wide range of first mortgage products and enjoy helping clients find the financing solution that best fits their needs.

What sets me apart is my commitment to building lasting relationships. I take the time to get to know each client, understand their family’s goals and provide personalized guidance throughout the mortgage process. I believe trust, communication and education are essential to creating a smooth and successful experience.

Outside of work, I grew up on a cattle farm in Manchester, Maryland. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, discovering new restaurants and cooking at home with my wife as my favorite taste tester.
